Jeff
Wilson

Jeff Wilson was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
in 1959 and currently resides in Coquitlam British
Columbia, with his wife Theresa and two dogs Cody and
Zimmy. Jeff’s interest in aviation started as a young
boy, who grew up only a couple of miles away from the
Hamilton airport, the home of the Canadian Warplane
Heritage.
Jeff started flying at the age of 19 and has flown in
some of the world’s great aircraft ranging from aircraft
such as the Harvard, T-33, KC-135, KC-10 to the USAF
F-15E Strike Eagle. As well as various helicopters which
is his favorite platform to photograph from.
Jeff’s has written numerous aviation related articles
and a contributing photographer to such periodicals as
Vertical Magazine, Airforces Monthly, Aircraft
Illustrated, World Airpower Journal and various aviation
subject books. Some of these books are F-111 by Osprey
Publishing, B-52 by Anthony Thornborugh and Tony
Cassanova, and Maple Flag by Mike Reyno.
Jeff attends airshows and military exercises around
the world, and has a keen interest in the understanding
of photography equipment from vendors such as Nikon and
Canon. Some would say an obsession!
Jeff has made many long time friends around the world
because of involvement with photography and aviation and
enjoys meeting up with them at different events.
